ABOUT TFM ROOFS PTY LTD.

TFM Roofs (PTY) LTD. is a company owned by Tshepiso Faith Monareng established on the 18th of August 2015. He saw the need in the construction and roof truss industry for a roof truss company with an aim to partner with established and upcoming black owned developers and construction companies to make their roof requirements a priority in service, design, manufacture, delivery and installation. To improve on current delayed service delivery by putting them first as partners, creating a new way forward in the construction sector through innovative roof designs.
Tshepiso Faith Monareng was first introduced into the roof truss industry early in 2006 while doing his final year towards a National Diploma in Architectural Technology at Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) He was doing research on roof truss detailing, then came across the Institute of Timber Construction ITC (SA) and took their beginners course for introduction to roof truss design, to gain more knowledge on the construction and detailing of timber trusses. Through ITC SA he then got introduced to MiTek SA a company that offered a CAD based design program that is used by Roof Designers & Estimators to design roof trusses.
As an Architectural student using AutoCAD for his designs he then became more interested in the roof truss industry and wanted to learn on how to design trusses using the MiTek program. After completing his ITC SA beginner’s course he also signed up at MiTek SA to do the beginners course of their CAD program called MiTek 20/20. He passed his MiTek 20/20 beginners course top of his class and there after got offered a job as roof estimator by Builders Market (Middelburg) That is when he saw an opportunity in the construction and roof truss industry and wanted to pursue a career in the roof truss industry.
In 2007 he started working for Builders Market Middelburg as an estimator/designer where he was taught how the roof truss industry operated. He was then transferred to F&F Building Suppliers Chamdor Krugersdorp 2008 and worked there as a junior roof designer and also completed his Intermediate MiTek 20/20 design.
He then got offered a position at VIP Truss Manufactures 2009 as a sales representative and senior designer, where he learned about the industry as a whole from acquiring business to design, manufacture and installations. His passion for the industry grew even more as he became part of the whole process from design of project to manufacture to installation and to seeing his design on an actual house of an impressed and satisfied customer. He then also worked for Gautruss 2010 and later joined LPJ Roofing as partner until 2015 when he felt that he had learned all there is to know about the roof truss industry and had improvements he would like to add to the industry by starting his own truss manufacturing company TFM Roofs (PTY) Ltd.
TFM Roofs (PTY) Ltd. also has dedicated teams of roof truss and tile installers who are experienced in installing trusses and roof covering to ITC SA standards and to our customer’s satisfaction.
